The list below may differ slightly depending on your specific job... You are ready for a countertop template when...
STONE or QUARTZ is approved, either in person or by sending in a signed Stone Waiver form.
CABINETS are installed flat and/or level
EXISTING TOPS are removed... this doesn't apply for a new cabinet install.
SINKS are on site and in their appropriate rooms.
If the sink will not be on site, please provide the make and model number(s)... Sometimes my fabricator can go by a digital file on record or if we’ll need to reschedule template until the sink is available.
If no sink has been selected, there are many sinks the Kitchen Gallery offers -- CLICK HERE
Farm sinks must be on site and installed at template (not plumbed).
FAUCETS are on site and in their appropriate rooms.
If the faucet will not be on site, the countertop templater will need the hole size(s) and number of holes so placement and layout can be determined.
Or often the countertop templator can work off of a manufacturers faucet specification sheet.
Without the physical faucet, the countertop templater will not be able to check for fit, spatially.
STOVE is on site.
If the stove is a slide-in or drop-in cooktop and will not be on site, specs will need to be provided at template. Having the physical stove on site is the best way for the templater to verify dimensions and confirm fit.
Downdrafts should be on site for template as well. If the down-draft is not available, specs will need to be provided at template. Having the downdraft on site is the best way for the templater to verify dimensions and confirm fit.
DECISION MAKER (homeowner) is on site to review and approve the template.
JOBSITE access is clear.
In the winter, please make sure that driveways and walkways are shoveled and sanded/salted.
